Norco scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to win the game.

West Ranch was playing in its first CIF softball championship game in school history.

Scott Dixon won the race.

In the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors, 95-93 in overtime, of Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

The series is tied at one game apiece. Game 3 is Tuesday in Cleveland.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers lost to the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-2. The Cardinals scored three runs in the eighth inning to take the lead in the game.

Absolutely terrible post. These teams battled all season to get to the championship game. This post makes it seem like a disappointment. They should be proud of their efforts and season-long preparation and dedication to get to the big game. Congratulations to all that participated in the CIF championship.

  2. Well said Travis Nicol
