This tribute stars Marie Wise-Hawkins & her Bodacious Bobcats. Included is a BBQ Tri-Tip & Chicken dinner with all the fix’ns, all for only $35.
Marie is returning to the stage after her highly acclaimed run as Patsy Cline in the stage production of “Always, Patsy Cline” at The Canyon Theatre Guild.

ABOUT MARIE WISE-HAWKINS
Recognized as a singer of exceptional artistry and versatility, soprano Marie Wise-Hawkins is a captivating young artist who is and has been generating excitement in the professional music world for years.
Early in her career, Marie was recognized as Female Vocalist of the Year by the North American Country Music Association as well as the California CMA and has performed at the Louise Mandrell Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the Mel Tillis Theater in Branson, Missouri and Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort in Laughlin, Nevada. She has also won Colgate Country Showdown Competitions at K-HAY (Ventura) and K-RZY (Santa Ynez) and has received OMNI Awards in such diverse categories as Country, Country Duo, Broadway and Gospel. Marie was featured at the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) in Costa Mesa, California, and shortly after entering the world of classical voice received the Bertha Savage Award for Operatic Performance.
Marie has demonstrated exceptional performance abilities appearing as Eponine in Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables, Ariel in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, and L’écureuil in Maurice Ravel’s Opera, L’enfant et les sortilèges. Marie also portrays Patsy Cline in the Canyon Theatre Guild’s production of Always… Patsy Cline.
Marie has performed at numerous world renown venues including Walt Disney Hall’s REDCAT, the Wild Beast, Melody Ranch, the Gene Autry Museum, the Century Plaza Hotel and the Skirball Center. Marie has also been featured at Santa Barbara’s Old Spanish Days, the Goleta Fiddlers Convention, Community Festivals for the Cities of Los Angeles, Bellflower and Calabasas, as well as the Rand Mining District Community Center.
Marie is an active philanthropist contributing her musical talents on behalf of numerous non profit organizations, including at Relay for Life, the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital’s Hometown Jamboree honoring Cliffie Stone, and the Child & Family Center’s Taste of the Town. She has also performed for the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Happy Trails Foundation, Carousel Ranch, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Harvest Ride, Villa Esperanza, the Southern California Motion Picture Council and the Hollywood Stuntmen’s B-B-Q for Disadvantaged Youth, and is a regular at Pierce College’s Farm Walk as well as the Annual NOHO Midsummer Nights Coffee House and Music Festival to benefit ARC. She also firmly believes in the importance of teaching music education to children and has been an active part of the City of Santa Clarita’s Cowboy Poetry and Music in the Schools Program for several years.
Marie has performed a variety of concerts ranging from opera to country music, from classic rock to world music, and from musical theatre to worship. She has been accompanied by such musical icons as Kenny G and Buck Page of Riders of the Purple Sage, as well as esteemed artists Jeff Franzel, Tali Tadmor, Nancy Usher, Eric Barnett of Iron Butterfly, Howard Yearwood, and Steven J. Robinson, and is also grateful to have shared stages with Laurence Juber, Chris Hillman, Pedro Eustache, Wylie Gustafson, Herb Jeffries and Miroslav Tadi?.
A graduate of the California Institute of The Arts where she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Classical Voice, Marie continues to study with highly acclaimed soprano Maria Fortuna Dean.
Marie who also plays guitar and writes her own songs is currently living in Los Angeles, California.
