The First Floor Gallery exhibit at Santa Clarita City Hall celebrates Santa Clarita’s thousands of acres of preserved open space and features oil and water color paintings as well as photographs depicting the natural beauty found in and around Santa Clarita.
The event will be held Wednesday, April 24, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first floor of City Hall, 23920 W. Valencia Blvd.
Photographer will be Jennifer Hill, artists Lorelle Miller, Laura Wambsgans, Patti Koscheski, Ernie Dollman and Alan Garber,Santa Clarita City Council and Santa Clarita Arts Commission.
The City of Santa Clarita will host a reception to celebrate the new exhibit, “Elsmere Imagined: Art of the Open Space,” which is on display at City Hall. The reception will recognize participating artists and include light appetizers and entertainment.
The City Hall First Floor Gallery is one of several Santa Clarita public art exhibits designed to showcase local talent and expose residents to cultural diversity.
The “Elsmere Imagined: Art of the Open Space” exhibit will be on display now through July 29, 2013.
