U.S. Rep. Katie Hill (D-Agua Dulce) will host a public “Congressional Conversation” in Santa Clarita on Saturday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Santa Clarita City Hall in Valencia.
It’s the latest in a series of Hill’s town-hall styled events and is open to all residents of the 25th Congressional District.
The theme of this conversation is her first 100 days in office and is aimed at highlighting the ways recent pieces of House legislation (including H.R. 1, H.R. 8, H.R. 9, etc.) will impact the lives of constituents in the district.
A panel discussion with distinguished guests addressing the ways in which major pieces of House legislation will impact the lives of district residents. The panel will include Congressman Mike Thompson of California’s 5th District and Tiffany Muller, president of End Citizens United.
The event will wrap with a Q&A from the audience.
The event will be live-streamed on Hill’s official social media channels.
Space is limited at the to-be-announced venue, so registration to attend is required.
Registration will open on Hill’s website at noon PDT Monday, April 15.

Once online registration is filled, a waitlist will become available online and those on the waitlist will be notified of an opening on a first-come, first-served basis, should a cancellation occur.
Advance registrants will be notified of the event’s location via email.
Day-of registration will be available at the event only if any seats are left after pre-registration. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m.
