The Santa Clarita Artists’ Association (SCAA), founded in 1989, continuously aims to improve the cultural aspects of Santa Clarita by Making Visual Art Visible, helps educate the community on the importance of art and provides opportunities for creative growth and expression.
SCAA art exhibits can also be viewed monthly at The Rep, The Canyon Theatre Guild, Samuel Dixon Healthcare, and annually at Union Bank, Le Chene, Hart Park, Vine to Wine, Newhall Library, City Hall and in other venues around Santa Clarita.
For community outreach, the SCAA provides monthly art demos. As funding allows, workshops, art enrichment and education classes are conducted for the benefit of Santa Clarita residents. Several of our members teach privately and at local schools.
Annually, the SCAA awards a scholarship to high school seniors pursuing an art career. Help support these programs and expand the relevance of visual arts in Santa Clarita by becoming a sponsor for our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Art Classic held October 15-16.
