Legendary award-winning R&B-Latin jazz band The Delgado Brothers will headline the final free Valencia Jazz & Blues concert of the summer 2018 season Friday night starting at 7 p.m. on the street outside the Hyatt Regency Valencia.
It’ll be the finale of the 19th annual Valencia Jazz & Blues concert series, produced by Summit West Public Relations and Marketing, headed by CEO Barbara Myler.
Winner of the 2016 International Blues Challenge, the veteran band of brothers delivers a mighty musical blend of hand-crafted original soul and rhythm and blues, all spiced up with a tasty East L.A. Latin vibe.
Beloved for their live shows and renowned for their signature sound, The Delgado Brothers fuse guitar virtuosity and melodious harmonies with rock-solid musicianship.
Their original lyrics reflect and reveal the ethos and pathos of our common humanity.
Native Angelinos, recording artists and the subject of the feature-length rockumentary film “In Time,” the band features brothers Joey D on guitar, Steve on drums, big brother Bob on bass and David Kelley on Hammond B3.
In addition to The Delgado Brothers, the D’Wilfri DanceArt & Entertainment troupe will perform, and follow up with free Latin dance instruction for concert-goers.
This week’s edition of the Valencia Jazz & Blues summer concert series is presented by Audiology Associates, Lucas Insurance and D’Wilfri DanceArt & Entertainment.
Food and beverage vendors include Salt Creek Grille, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse and Wolf Creek Brewery.
