The Saugus Union School District will host “Back to School Nights” for all 15 elementary schools in the District between Monday, August 7 and Thursday, August 10.
These programs are designed to provide parents with the opportunity to visit their children’s classrooms, meet the teachers and administrators, and learn about the grade level expectations, materials and events.
For new TK and K students, it is especially valuable for to provide them with the opportunity to walk the campus for the first time.
“Our ‘Back to School Nights’ are important events for our parents and the staff,” said Joan Lucid, EdD, district superintendent. “We encourage our parents and guardians to return to school, learn what is new and be part of their children’s journey through elementary school. We look forward to welcoming our parents at Back to School Night and our students on the very first day of school, August 9.”
