Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred: (1) Robbery, (1) Residential Burglary, (5) Commercial Burglaries, (1) Burglary to a Vehicle, (2) Grand Thefts, (4) Shoplifts, (2) Petty Thefts
A robbery occurred on the bicycle path near Soledad Canyon Road and Penlon Road. Two suspects were involved. One suspect demanded the victim’s wallet at gunpoint while the second suspect acted as a lookout. Both suspects ran into a nearby wash and out of view. This incident is being investigated by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 18900 block of Soledad Canyon Road. The rear door to the location was pried open, and a computer was taken. This incident is being investigated by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
A grand theft occurred near the 18700 block of Via Princessa. A large amount of disposed cooking oil was stolen from the rear of the location. This incident is being investigated by Santa Clarita Station Detectives.
