Snapshot for 08/18/2014 to 08/24/2014
This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:
An aggravated assault occurred near the 19300 block of Soledad Canyon Road. The suspect and victim got into an argument at a local dining establishment. The suspect grabbed a glass display and threw it at the victim causing minor injuries to her leg. The suspect was arrested shortly after the incident. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A spousal assault occurred near the 26800 block of Ruether Avenue. The two parties involved got into a verbal argument that quickly turned physical. Both parties struck each other numerous times causing minor injuries. Both parties were arrested at the scene. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A residential burglary occurred near the 18800 block of Vista Del Canon. An unknown suspect entered the victims residence through an open sliding glass patio door and stole items from within. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A shoplifting occurred near the 26961 block of Sierra Highway. One suspect was arrested for theft of a bottle of Vodka. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
A shoplifting occurred near the 20600 block of Golden Triangle Road. One suspect was arrested for shoplifting numerous store items. This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.
