Snapshot 08/18/2014 – 08/24/2014
A residential burglary occurred near the 27600 block of Nugget Drive. The suspect pawned several of the stolen items at a pawn shop which were located by Santa Clarita Station Deputies. The suspect was subsequently arrested for the theft.
A residential burglary occurred near the 28000 block of Sand Canyon Rd. The victim was unable to determine how the suspects made entry into the location. A dell computer was stolen.
A residential burglary occurred near the 27900 block of Tyler Lane. This incident occurred on 08/22/14 between. The suspect entered the unlocked side door to the garage. A set of Lynx golf clubs were stolen from the location.
There was a residential burglary reported near the 15000 block of Daffodil Avenue. The suspect made entry into the location through the unlocked rear slider. The suspect stole jewelry from the location.
A proactive deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for various vehicle code violations. During the stop he discovered that the car was an un-reported stolen vehicle. After checking the registered owner’s address it was determined that the suspect had burglarized the apartment and stole the vehicle. There was stolen property recovered from the vehicle and was returned to the victim. The suspect was arrested for the thefts.
There was a catalytic converter stolen from the park and ride at Golden Valley Road and the 14 freeway. The converter was stolen off of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma.
A grand theft auto occurred near the 18000 block of Flynn Drive. A 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser was taken on 08/21/14, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.
