Castaic and Val Verde, Zone 2

There was 1 Part-1 Crime in Zone 2 (Castaic / Val Verde) this past week. A woman reported that her credit/debit card was taken from her purse which was left in the women’s restroom at a local school. The suspect then allegedly used the card at various locations prior to the victim realizing her card was missing. There is possible suspect information which Santa Clarita Valley Station Detectives are following up on.

Please remember to close your garage doors, and never leave valuables in plain view in your vehicle. Minimize your risk, and avoid being the victim of a crime of opportunity. If you see any suspicious activity, call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
