Come join us for the Haunted Jailhouse at the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 at 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Many children and their parents enjoy the Haunted Jailhouse every year, which is decorated by the SCV Boys and Girls Clubs.

One of the favorite events from years past, the “Dunk-A-Deputy Booth,” which provides attendees a chance at dunking the station commander and other local deputies, is being repeated this year.

There will also be music and food from local artisans and various games, hosted by nonprofit organizations in the Santa Clarita Valley. There will also be stage entertainment, including presentations from several dance studios and a magician.

A $2.00 donation to the SCV Boys and Girls Club is requested at the entry gate, which will include a ticket to the Haunted Jailhouse.

Along with a petting zoo and displays from the Sheriff’s Department, this year’s event boasts a costume contest with trophies to be awarded broken out by age group.

Children under 2 will be judged at 12:30 pm, Ages 2 to 4 at 1:00 pm, Ages 5 to 7 at 1:30 pm, Ages 8 to 10 at 2:00 pm, Ages 11 to 12 at 2:30 pm and Ages 13 to adult at 3:00 pm
