Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
There was a residential burglary reported near the 27300 block of Sumac Court. In this incident the suspect entered through the bedroom window. The suspect stole a 60” LG TV and a 30” Insignia TV. The suspect left through the front door.
A residential burglary was reported near the 27500 block of Sierra Highway. The victim left his living room window open on the second floor. The suspect entered through the window and stole a 48” Vizio TV an Acer laptop.
A vehicle burglary occurred at the intersection of Sandy Drive and Fahren Court. In this incident the suspect shattered the driver’s side window, entered the vehicle and attempted to steal the radio by prying it out.
A vehicle burglary was reported near the 18030 block of Flynn Drive. In this incident the suspect shattered the passenger side window and entered the vehicle. The suspect stole a “Nikon” camera from the interior of the vehicle and a spark plug from the engine compartment.
Don’t be a victim. When you park your vehicle please make sure to remove valuable items from sight. Thieves routinely look into vehicles and are able to spot valuable items such as phones, laptops and wallets.
