The California High-Speed Rail Authority will be hosting five community open house meetings in the Bakersfield to Palmdale Project Section starting next Saturday, January 28 in Rosamond.
These meetings are to provide an update to the public on the four alignment alternatives being considered in this corridor.
These alternatives were recommended during the Authority’s Supplemental Alternatives Analysis (SAA) report that was released in April 2016.
The high-speed rail team continues to gather feedback from community members and stakeholders to make further refinements and to either avoid or minimize potential impacts to existing facilities, land uses and environmental resources.
In addition to Rosamond, we will be in Lancaster on January 31, Tehachapi on February 1, Edison on February 2 and Palmdale on February 7.
The information shared will be identical at each meeting but the Edison meeting will be presented in both English and Spanish and also live webcasted.
