Castaic and Val Verde, Zone 2

The following crimes were reported in Zone 2, Castaic/Val Verde.

A grand theft occurred from the 28000 block of Industry Drive in the Industrial Center. A local company had a truck load of merchandise picked up for delivery by a truck driver using fraudulent paperwork. The company lost over $32,000 of equipment.

A vehicle burglary occurred in the residential area of Castaic. The vehicle was locked and personal items were taken.

Please remember to close and lock your doors, and never leave valuables in plain view in your vehicle. Minimize your risk and avoid being the victim of a crime of opportunity.
