Magic MountainA child was airlifted from Six Flags Magic Mountain Wednesday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The child was taken to a “local area child center,” said Inspector Gustavo Medina with the LACoFD. The call came in around 2:17 p.m. and the child was transported shortly before 3 p.m.

Magic Mountain officials say it was precautionary.

    Happens more often than you’d think. If it was ride-related, you’d know. Usually is either a pre-existing condition or dehydration or something of that nature.

      Kelli …not sure what happened but when we got there at 3pm the line to the parking lot was already long…next thing we saw was a helicopter coming up from the parking lot and lots n lots of police cars.
      I hope those people r ok though ?

    I saw the helicopter landing on my way to my car. It was in a weird area by Scream & dirt was flying everywhere. My son & his cousins were waiting for me by the valet area. After I mentioned the helicopter, they told me that there was a girl that was riding Viper the same time they were and she got carried out in a stretcher. They said she was passed out & not responding. Hope she’s okay. We’ve been praying for her.
