As the first exhibition of the spring 2016 semester, the College of the Canyons Art Gallery will present “Art-Work: Selections from the Visual Arts Faculty” beginning Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Highlighting a diverse range of work created by the college’s talented faculty, the exhibition will include examples of drawing, photography, painting, sculpture, and graphic design.
The exhibition has been designed to provide both the campus and community with an opportunity to see what the 17 featured faculty members have been working on outside of the classroom.

“This exhibition allows for an important opportunity to view firsthand the creative skill of our visual arts faculty and serves as a learning experience for our students and the public at large,” said COC Art Gallery director Larry Hurst.
The exhibition “Art-Work: Selections from the Visual Arts Faculty” will run through March 24.
Additionally, a round table discussion with the artists will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in the Art Gallery.
The COC Art Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Those unable to visit the gallery during normal hours are welcome to call (661) 362-3612 to schedule a viewing appointment. All gallery exhibitions and related events are free and open to the public.
