Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff’s Station deputies were on scene Thursday to rescue a worker who was partially buried during a construction accident in the 25800 block of Industry Circle in the Valencia Commerce Center.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies received the call at 4:21 p.m. according to Lt. Hahnlein of the Sheriff’s Station.

The worker was partially buried when the hole he was digging collapsed around him, Hahnlein said.

The worker was not fully buried, and was conscious when officials arrived on scene, he said. He did not appear to sustain any major injuries.
