Petty Theft- 18300 block of Soledad Canyon Road
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s bicycle which was parked under a nearby carport.
09/28/16
Petty Theft- 18200 block of Jakes Way
Person(s) unknown stole a tattoo machine and tattoo gun from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.
09/29/16
Petty Theft- 17700 block of Cape Jasmine Road
Person(s) unknown entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole a garage door opener and sunglasses.
10/01/16
Robbery- 16600 block of Soledad Canyon Road
One suspect was arrested after stealing store items then fighting with store employees over the stolen items.
Residential Burglary- 18000 block of Grace Lane
Person(s) unknown forced entry into the victim’s residence and stole jewelry.
Arson- 13200 block of Soledad Canyon Road
Person(s) unknown set fire to a hillside near the 14 freeway. Arson detectives stated three different locations near the main fire were located indicating arson.
IF YOU WITNESS A CRIME
If you see or suspect a crime is being committed, pay particular attention to the features of the offender(s) and any vehicles involved. Try to be prepared to provide at least the following about the offenders:
When reporting a crime by telephone, remain on the phone until the dispatcher is fully briefed with all the information necessary to dispatch the appropriate response personnel to the scene.
1. Age, race, height, and weight;
2. Hair color and style, beard and mustache;
3. Notable characteristics (acne, scars, glasses mental state, etc.)
4. Clothing description;
5. Location where last seen;
6. Last known direction of travel;
7. Vehicle description and distinctive markings.
Witnesses who wish to remain anonymous may do so. It is more important that a response be dispatched as quickly as possible.
