Sometimes we hear or see things we think are suspicious, or we think were so blatant somebody else must have heard or seen and reported. Often things go unreported which could have been helpful. If you see or hear something you think is suspicious, call the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station at (661)255-1121, and we will check it out. It may just be the tip we need to catch a criminal before they can strike again.
On Sunday the 8th between midnight and 9:30 a.m., an apartment was broken in to in the 23700 block of Silverado. A door was broken, but nothing was stolen.
Be aware of your surroundings. Don’t walk, drive, or park into environments you are uncomfortable with because it is dark, hidden, or other people are loitering in. Secure your personal belongings and purchases in your trunk and out of view. Be safe so you can enjoy the holidays.
