Tip of the Month: Never Leave Children or Pets in Your Vehicle in Hot Weather.
The June gloom has passed, and we are beginning to experience much warmer weather. With that being said, we need to be aware of the hotter temperatures that are already occurring. On average, the inside of a vehicle can be between 20–30 degrees hotter than the outside temperature, even with the windows left partially open. Never leave children or pets in a vehicle unattended in hot weather, even if you only plan on being away for a few minutes. For safety reasons alone, you should always take your children with you. In hotter weather, do your pets a favor and leave them at home.
Take care, and be safe.
