Valencia: Zone 5 – Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 06/20/2016 to 06/26/2016.
Monday -06/20/16
Burglary-24100 block of Victoria Lane. An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s garage and unlocked car and stole several items from inside the location. The victim left his car unlocked at the time of the theft. The victim had his vehicle keys stolen along with several personal items and his credit cards.
Tuesday -06/21/16
Burglary (Attached Garage)
25000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway. An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s garage and stole 3 bicycles.
Fraudulent use of credit card/Petty Theft.
24300 block of Town Center Drive. While the victim was at the location eating she stated a couple eating next to her began acting very strange. Shortly after she noticed her wallet was missing and several of her credit cards had been used at stores ringing up a total over 8000 dollars in purchases.
Burglary (Locked Vehicle)
25300 block of Via Pacifica. An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s camper shell and stole several thousand worth of tools. No signs of damage to the vehicle camper shell was detected.
Wednesday -06/22/16
Shoplifting-24200 block of Valencia Boulevard. Two male’s juveniles were detained from the location for trying to exit the area for without paying for the items in their possession.
Burglary/Petty Theft/
28200 block of Newhall Ranch Road. While the victim was at the location working out an unknown suspect made entry into his gym locker and stole his wallet, keys to his car and a tablet.
28200 block of Newhall Ranch Road. While the victim was working out at the location an unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s locker and stole several items from inside his locker including his house keys and car keys.
Thursday-06/23/16
Theft-28500 block of Westinghouse Place. While the victim was at the location he went to go get some food and left his items at his table. When he returned his laptop and bag were gone.
Friday -06/24/16
Petty Theft-27400 block of Wayne Mills Place. While the victim was at the location an unknown person gained access to her hotel room and stole cash from her purse. Her purse was secured in her room while she was gone.
Please remember all fireworks in the city of Santa Clarita are illegal and you can be subject to fine and /or arrest for lighting off your own fireworks. Please make arrangements to attend a professional fireworks shows of your choice. Please remember the fire danger in our city is very high and we need to make sure we all do our part to prevent fires in our area. We encourage everyone to have a great 4th of July, safe and without incidents.
