Snapshot 07/14/2014 – 07/20/2014
A residential burglary was reported near the 26500 block of Cardinal Drive. In his incident the suspect broke several rear sliding glass doors and windows. He was later arrested for burglary by deputies.
There was a residential burglary reported near the 27600 block of Nugget Drive. In this incident the suspect broke in through the rear sliding glass window. The suspects stole several thousand dollars worth of electronics.
A “Hot Prowl” burglary occurred near the 29000 block of Marilyn Drive. The suspects entered the side garage door and stole skateboards. The suspects were seen by the victim who immediately called 911. Deputies searched the area and located the suspects. They were placed under arrest for burglary.
An Arson was reported on Placerita Canyon Road one mile east of Sierra Highway. A stolen car from Montebello was set on fire and totaled the vehicle.
If you’re going on a vacation please make arrangements to have someone look after your home. Don’t leave your trash cans out once they are empty and remove newspapers that accumulate on drive ways and front doors. These are indicators that thieves use to guess if your home or not.
