This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:

A grand theft occurred near the 19400 block of Bension Drive.  Person(s) unknown entered a model home and stole 2 televisions from within.  This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.

One suspect was arrested for grand theft near the intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Luther Drive.  A Deputy arrested one suspect for illegally being in possession of a laptop and diamond ring.  This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.

A vehicle burglary occurred near the 28300 block of Hillfield Lane.  Person(s) unknown shattered the victims passenger side front window and stole items from within.  This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.

One suspect was arrested for shoplifting near the 19300 block of Soledad Canyon Road.  This incident is currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives.

The 2024 Santa Clarita Marathon will be held on Nov. 10, starting and finishing at Valencia Heritage Park, 24155 Newhall Ranch Rd. The course will be on the bike path, away from traffic. Race start times are: full marathon 7 a.m., half marathon 7:15 a.m., 10K 7:30 a.m. and 5K 7:35 a.m.
