Protect Against Package Theft
If you do some shopping online and expect some packages to be delivered to your home, it’s important to know there are some thieves out there who will take them right from your doorstep. Thieves sometimes follow delivery trucks around, and when a package gets dropped off – they swoop in a few minutes later and swipe it. To avoid this ,you can have the shipment sent to where you are. In other words, if you are at work during the day they can have packages delivered to where you work. You can also choose to have things sent to a relative or neighbor who is home during the day.
You can tell the delivery driver where you would like packages left, for example, in the shed in the back yard, or behind the garage, etc. The drivers can enter that information into their handheld computers for future deliveries.
