Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information for the week of 04/04/16 to 04/10/16
A vehicle burglary was reported near the 25600 block of Springbrook Avenue. The suspect pried open the main door to the RV to make entry. The suspect stole a 50” Hisense flat screen television and a Sony DVD player.
There was a vehicle burglary reported near the 27600 block Susan Beth Way. In this incident the suspect pried open the locks from the truck bed shell to gain entry. The suspect stole a Hilti hammer drill, Dewalt band saw, Dewalt impact drill and other miscellaneous hand tools.
A theft from an unlocked vehicle was reported near the 28400 block of Santa Catarina Road. The suspect entered the unlocked vehicle and stole DMV registration to a 2002 Honda Accord..
An assault with a deadly weapon was reported near the 27600 block of Bouquet Canyon Road. The suspect was upset with the store clerk over him not being able to buy cigarettes without identification. The suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim outside the store. The victim tried to run away but the suspect chased him and was able to knock the victim to the ground. The suspect then kicked the victim in the head multiple times. This case is currently being investigated by Santa Clarita Station detectives.
