Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
Last week, the following Part 1 crime occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch and Westridge:
A residential burglary occurred near the 24800 block of Sagecrest Circle. An unknown suspect entered the location through a kitchen window and upon entering, took miscellaneous jewelry and an Ipad.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 24900 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect shattered the rear driver’s side window of the victim’s vehicle and took a back pack containing several personal items.
A vehicle burglary occurred near the 25500 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took several miscellaneous personal items. There were no signs of forced entry made into the vehicle.
A theft from an unlocked vehicle occurred near the 25600 block of The Old Road. An unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took electronic equipment and personal items.
A grand theft occurred near the 25700 block of The Old Road. A large industrial sized oven was taken from the rear loading dock of the location.
A commercial burglary occurred near the 24900 block of The Old Road. A suspect entered the victim’s unlocked locker and took a gym bag containing the victim’s car keys. The suspect then entered the victim’s vehicle and took a purse. A female suspect and two male suspects were arrested a short time later by Santa Clarita Valley Station detectives in connection with the incident. The case is currently under investigation.
A shoplift burglary occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. Two male suspects were detained by loss prevention personnel after they exited the location, failing to pay for several items. The suspects were subsequently arrested by responding Santa Clarita Station deputies.
A GTA occurred near the 28200 block of Rye Canyon Road. A 2006 Honda Civic was taken from a nearby parking lot.
As a reminder, please do not leave valuables in plain view in your vehicles. Many incidents can be avoided if you take the time to ensure your vehicles are secure and your property is properly stored.

Yikes.. These creeps need to stay the heck out of Awesometown!
Seriously!!!! You’d think maybe the police could start patrolling that specific area of The Old Rd. Clueless.
