Petty Theft – 28600 blk The Old Road
Person(s) unknown stole the victim’s cell phone which was left unsecured and unattended in a cubby hole at the location.
Tip of the Week: Use caution when storing items in cubby holes.
Many activity centers in Santa Clarita use cubby holes as a way of storing personal items while using the facilities. Though they are convenient, they are not secure and will not prevent thefts. Try to keep high value items such as cell phones, wallets, purses, etc, on your person while using the facility. If this is not possible, you may want to store the items in the trunk of your vehicle where they are out of view and secure.
