SAT Team and patrol deputies from the Santa Clarita Valey Sheriff’s Station teamed up for a bike patrol operation in Canyon Country Thursday and arrested four suspects on outstanding warrants and drug charges.
Here’s the recap from the station’s public information officer, Shirley Miller:
ARRESTED: A 29-year-old man walking on the streets of Canyon Country was immediately recognized by deputies as having outstanding warrants. They made contact with the man and determined he had a total of FIVE OUTSTANDING ARREST WARRANTS, TOTALING $800,000.
ARRESTED: The bike patrol team made their way through shopping center parking lots near Soledad Canyon Road/Whites Canyon Road. They made contact with a 34-year-old man in the parking lot. He was found to have outstanding warrants and was also in possession of methamphetamine.
ARRESTED: Deputies on bikes continued through the shopping center parking lots and noted a suspicious vehicle. They approached the vehicle and made contact with an adult male and an adult female. A 31-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The female suspect also was in possession of digital scales, baggies, U.S. currency and a pair of brass knuckles.
All suspects were transported by our assisting patrol units and booked at SCV Sheriff’s Station. Yes, our jailers had a busy night!
