Another 10 by 10 Variety Show is just around the corner on Thursday, February 2 from 7 to 9 pm. 10 by 10 is a free show featuring comedy, music, magic, storytelling, film, and more. It is held on the first Thursday of the month and takes place at the Repertory East Playhouse, which is located at 24266 Main St, Newhall, CA 91321.

Bring out friends, enjoy the bar, and make a night out of it.

The cast includes:

Comedy by Samantha Hale
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Samantha Hale is following in the comedic footsteps of her grandfather, Alan Hale Jr., best known as The Skipper from Gilligan’s Island. With her unique outlook on life, Samantha likes to push boundaries with her material.

Storytelling from Pablo Marz
Pablo Marz is an actor, storyteller, director and teacher. Aside from film and TV, Pablo has performed with ComedySportz L.A., West Coast Ensemble Theatre, iOWest, at the Disney Concert Hall, the Getty Center, and last year he ended up onstage at the Tropicana Nightclub in Havana, Cuba! Pablo is also the creator and producer of the popular storytelling show,

MUSIC by GRIT
GRIT is an Americana, Blues, and Folk band. The band consists of Aaron who plucks on string instruments and huffs into the harmonica. Corissa sings and plays acoustic guitar. Squeezebox Sam plays the accordion, hums, whistles, and plays the kazoo, and slide whistle. Michael fingerpicks the banjo and sings, and Stuart plays the acoustic bass.

Stand-Up with Chris Cope
Chris has appeared on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Laughs on Fox , Tosh.0 and “Grey’s Anatomy”. His Southern Charm isn’t limited to stage and screen, He has just released his first first full length comedy album, “White Trash Super Computer”, debuted in the Top 10 on Amazon.com and Top 25 on Itunes.

FILM SHORT “I Will Love You, Always” by Summera Howell
“I Will Love You, Always.” is a short film that subtly blends fantasy with reality. It explores love and loss in the 21st century, and uses strong visuals to bring the audience into the emotions of the characters. Fundamentally, it’s a deeply personal film about the choice to move on.

MUSIC by Abel Gallardo
Singer and songwriter Abel Gallardo, front man of The Buckhenries, will share a rare solo performance for the 10 by 10 audience.

Storytelling from Julia Pels
Julia Pels is an LA based stand-up comedian, storyteller and LGBTQ activist. She also produces her own HYBRID stand up//storytelling show every fourth Sunday of the month at The Lyric Hyperion Theatre & Café. She performs in the independent comedy scene frequently and has also done (larger) shows at The Comedy Store, The Ice House, and The Hollywood Improv.

MUSIC with Nick Goodman
Nick worked in the Record Business and then moved to Los Angeles in the 70s, and switched to work in the Film Industry in 1986 and have been working as a Production Designer ever since. He has been playing music all my life and recently started playing in public again.
