A free panel discussion about social media and how to use it to better market yourself will happen on February 22 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Main, formerly the Repertory East Playhouse, on 24266 Main Street in Newhall.
An esteemed panel shares their experience and techniques on marketing themselves and their work. The panel discussion will serve as a resource for artists who are interested in capitalizing on the popularity of social media to market artwork and collaborate. This unique workshop will provide attendees with valuable insight into the social media world as the panel of experts will provide artists with key terms, tools and concepts to consider. Effective use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other tools will be discussed.
Panelists include: Mayumi Miyasato (Communications Specialist at The city of Santa Clarita managing the city’s social media outreach among other duties), Phobik (illustrator, fine artist, muralist, and interior designer, Phobik’s artwork doesn’t stick to a single style) and Josh Zamudio (lifestyle photographer and founder of Positive Minds clothing “We want to empower people to succeed”).
Join us to make sure you’re making the most of all of the hard work you put into creating art.
