The newest exhibition in the Newhall Community Center showcases multicultural cartoon art prints from the pages of a soon-to-be-released children’s book called “United by Art.” Stop by the reception to enjoy light appetizers, live music and meet the artists. The children’s book celebrates music, dance and cultures from around the world and features over 100 nations. The goal of the book is to introduce and encourage appreciation of new cultures to young readers who may not have the ability to travel due to limited financial resources. Note by Note is a free music night giving audiences a variety of genres to choose from. Four performers take the stage on the fourth Thursday of every month and play their own blend of music for your listening pleasure. Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons

The Santa Clarita Philharmonic presents its winter program and the winner of its fifth Student Concerto Competition, which is open to junior and senior high school students throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. Youth Arts Showcase
The Centre
Saturday, 3/23, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
To celebrate Youth Arts Month, the City of Santa Clarita will host its fourth annual Youth Arts Showcase in collaboration with all five local school districts. Grab your friends and family and stop by this FREE event to support art created by youth in our community. The Centre facility will be transformed into a giant art hub celebrating different artistic talents including live music and dance performances, galleries of visual art, and opportunities to participate in interactive art experiences.
