The CIF Southern Section has released the playoff brackets for Northern Division football.

As the No. 1 seed coming out of the Foothill League, Valencia will host Moorpark, the fifth-place finisher out of the Marmonte League. Canyon hosts Palmdale, which finished third in the Golden League. Saugus travels to Highland, the Golden League’s second-place finisher. Hart was granted the one and only at-large berth and will play Paols Verde, the Bay League champion. All games are scheduled for this Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Santa Clarita Christian, in their first year in 11-man football and playing in the CIF-SS Northeast Division, finished second in the San Joaquin League and will play Sante Fe League champion Salesian on the road.

Trinity Classical Academy, theNo. 4 seed overall in 8-man Division 2, won their first round game 45-20 over Calvary Baptist of La Verne. It was the school’s first-ever playoff win. The Knights next face Hope Center Academy of Compton on the road Friday.
