The Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library invites residents to support the Santa Clarita Public Library with the Dining for Dollars fundraiser at three local restaurants on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

Residents who dine at Cathy’s Deli, located at 23120 Lyons Avenue #24 and open from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., El Trocadero Mesquite Grill & Cantina, located at 24274 Main Street and open from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., or Piccola Trattoria, located at 18302 Sierra Highway #107 and open from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., can help support the Santa Clarita Public Library.

A portion of the bill will go to support the library when participants show any Dining for Dollars PR piece or their library card when they order.

“Dining for Dollars is a great way to support our amazing library system while also visiting local restaurants in Santa Clarita,” said Councilmember Marsha McLean. “The partnership exhibited by the three establishments and The Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library is a great example of community support for the important services the library provides.”

The Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library is an active group of Santa Clarita residents who volunteer, advocate and fundraise to meet the needs of the Santa Clarita Public Library. All of the proceeds from fundraising events and programs sponsored by the Friends of the Library go toward providing new materials and programming at the Santa Clarita Public Library.
