A friend has set up a GoFundMe page for BodyShop661 owner Cesar Ranuschio, who was shot while attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas Sunday.

The page reads as follows:

“My name is Anne Marlett. Cesar, Jessica and I first met while I was working for Cesar’s uncle Alberto at Eleven Wine Lounge in Santa Ynez, CA. I’ve met very few people with hearts as big as theirs.”

“Recently engaged and looking forward to continuing their lives together, this experience is one I would wish on no one.”

“Cesar and his fiancé Jessica were in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest Festival when a shooter from the Mandalay Bay opened fire. 59 people have died, hundreds were injured whether by gunshot or being hurt trying to escape.”

“Cesar was shot in the shoulder, during surgery it was discovered that the bullet had moved and lodged in his heart. A second surgery was required. I do not yet know the outcome. Jessica escaped without injury but, this is a traumatic event that will forever change her life.”

“Please help me in raising funds needed to assist them in their recovery from this. The funds will be used for all medical, PTSD therapy and travel expenses associated with this incident. Only Cesar and/or Jessica will have access to these funds, when it can be set up. Thank you very much.”
