Tom Nolan Band

The sounds of live jazz and blues bands will fill Town Center Drive in Valencia for one more Friday night, Aug. 26, as the 13th Annual Lexus of Valencia Jazz & Blues Series comes to a close.

This Friday will feature popular blues recording artist Tom Nolan.

“The Tom Nolan Band is one of our most popular headliners,” series presenter Barbara Myler said. “They bring a world class rhythm section, horn section, great vocals and an intense show that brings people to their feet.  Soul, blues, rhythm & blues, jazz – they do it all  It’s the perfect way to close the most successful concert season ever.”

Myler said the current concert season has been the most exciting and best attended of any year. Keyes Lexus of Valencia is the title sponsor; attitional sponsors include the city of Santa Clarita, Wildcat Business Group, Advantage Disposal, Miss SCV Scholarship Pageant, Trendsetters Fashion Event and others.  Media sponsors include The Signal, The Magazine of Santa Clarita, Inside SCV Magazine, elite Magazine and KHTS AM-1220.

“With all their support, we not only had a great time, we were able to continue our tradition of raising funds for our local charities,” Myler said.

Concerts are held on Town Center Drive at McBean Parkway from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free. Food and beverages are available, including beer and wine. Salt Creek Grille and BJ’s Brewhouse  will be on hand this Friday serving food. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed.
