FRONTIER ARMY DAYS
Take a step back in time and experience the life of the soldiers and civilians! Frontier Army Days represents Fort Tejon as a 1856 U.S. Army post of the Far West with demonstrations.
Demonstrations may include 1850’s Army barracks life, blacksmith shop, artillery drill, open hearth cooking, Army Horsemanship, military drill, carpentry shop, laundry/candle making, weapons demonstrations, officer’s quarters (availability of demonstrations will vary). Admission is $5 Adults, $3 children. Event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates:

FORT TEJON STATE HISTORIC PARK is located on Interstate 5, just north of Lebec, about 36 miles south of Bakersfield and 77 miles north of Los Angeles. Ft. Tejon State Historic Park has no food concessions; bring a picnic lunch and relax under the magnificent Valley Oaks.

We used to go to reenactments at Fort Tejon all the time. Made for a great family day.
