Second Annual “The Big I Do”
This February, love is in the air as local couples are offered a unique opportunity to elevate their Valentine’s Day celebration. Organized by the City Hall Ceremonies team, “The Big I Do” provides couples with a dream wedding experience, free from the usual hassles of planning, seating charts and a big price tag. On Feb. 14, multiple couples will simultaneously tie the knot during this all-inclusive event. Participants can anticipate a celebration featuring a champagne toast, custom wedding cakes, a professional photographer, dancing, a photobooth and an array of exclusive offers generously provided by local businesses.
“The Big I Do” is a platform for local wedding vendors to showcase all they provide. Our jewelers, florists, bakers and gown designers, will bring their unique skills and products to enhance this extraordinary wedding experience. Adding to the excitement of the big day, the couples who are getting married will have the chance to win a dream honeymoon cruise provided by Princess Cruises. This seven-day voyage will be the ultimate way to kick off their lives together. Participating couples will submit a video showcasing their Santa Clarita love story. These videos will then be featured on the City’s social media channels and residents will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite couple! The couple with the most votes will win the Princess Cruise and the winner will be announced at “The Big I Do.”
“The Big I Do” is part of the City’s popular City Hall Ceremonies program which offers a convenient one-stop shop, providing a marriage license and ceremony on the same day. Couples can choose from various beautiful locations at City Hall, including Council Chambers, the lobby mural or outside with the tranquil fountain as a backdrop.
