Alissa McCurley
U.S. Rep. Howard “Buck” McKeon announced Wednesday he has hired Alissa McCurley as his new communication director. McCurley started Tuesday in his Washington, D.C. office.
“Alissa will be an experienced and knowledgeable addition to the staff serving the people of the 25th District,” McKeon, R-Santa Clarita, said in a statement.
McCurley previously served as communications director to Rep. Kevin Yoder, R-Kansas, after serving in the same capacity for Yoder’s 2010 congressional campaign.
Originally from Kansas, McCurley holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, a masters in communication from American University and a juris doctorate from the DePaul University College of Law.
McCurley replaces Lindsey Mask, who left last month to join a K-Street public relations firm after serving as McKeon’s communications director for more than five years.
