LANCASTER – The University of Antelope Valley is pleased to welcome Nicole Brouillard as the new head coach for its women’s volleyball program.
UAV Director of Athletics Anthony Harris said of the new hire, “I am excited to have Nicole join our coaching staff at UAV. She has a dynamic personality and coaches with a passion for the game of volleyball. She will serve as a fine role model for our young ladies while challenging and motivating them to reach new heights on the court and in the classroom.”
A Spokane, Wash. native, Brouillard began her career managing high-end luxury retail before transitioning careers into the teaching field, most recently teaching physical education at KIPP Scholar Academy in Los Angeles, Calif.
She comes to UAV with several years of coaching experience at the high school and club volleyball levels. She has led both boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams as a head coach at the high school level and has coached the San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club since 2017.
While coaching the boys’ varsity volleyball team at Providence High School in 2017 her team won the 2017 League Title and advanced further in the playoffs than any team in the program’s history.
A volleyball player herself, Brouillard began her collegiate playing career at North Idaho College before transferring to Washington State University, where she would finish her playing career and graduate in 2007 with a B.A. in Social Science with an emphasis in business.

The University of Antelope Valley had 21 student-athletes qualify as 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes across three different fall sports, increasing its total of 14 student-athletes last fall by seven.
