Hurricane Sandy may have passed, but victims on the East Coast are continuing to pick up the pieces. In an effort to help the American Red Cross in their relief efforts, local blogger Eve Bushman has partnered with Cheers @ All Corked Up bar and restaurant for the Pour Into Sandy wine-tasting fundraiser on Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tickets in the form of cash or check made out to the American Red Cross are $25 and can be paid at the door. The buffet dinner costs another $15, which includes a souvenir acrylic tray with a wine glass notch. Twenty percent of all dinner purchases will be donated to the Red Cross.

In addition to food, wine and live entertainment provided by Joe Iaquinto and Friends, guests are invited to participate in the silent auction. Prizes include local cellared wines, wine paraphernalia, gift baskets and certificates. All proceeds from the auction will also be donated to the Red Cross.

Reservations are recommended by not required. For more information visit Pour Into Sandy’s Facebook event page or All Corked Up’s website.
