The William S. Hart Union High School District Governing Board has published the agenda for the board’s November 20 meeting at 7 p.m.
A closed session is set to start at 5:30 p.m. for conference with legal counsel about anticipated litigation, conferences with labor negotiators representing teachers’ and staff’s unions; and appoint an Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services.
Among the agenda items during the open session, the Board is expected to approve Santa Clarita Valley International School’s petition for renewal of its charter school, from July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2025.
The Board is also expected to adopt a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of 2019 general obligation refunding bonds, pursuant to Measure SA, passed by voters in 2008.
