Oct. 3: SCE to Host Wildfire Mitigation Meeting

Southern California Edison officials will host a community meeting on wildfire mitigation and public safety for Santa Clarita Valley residents at the Hyatt Regency Valencia on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The meeting is especially geared to residents who have a home or business in a high-fire-risk area.

During the meeting, SCE will provide information on its Wildfire Mitigation Program, including its Public Safety Power Shutoff Protocol and other efforts to help keep our customers and communities safe.

Protecting you and your family from the threat of wildfires is the company’s highest priority. Taking important actions to reduce the risk of wildfires has long been a focus for SCE.

Today, SCE continues to look for ways to enhance operational practices and strengthen infrastructure to address the increased threat of wildfires.

The Hyatt Regency Valencia is located at 24500 Town Center Dr., Valencia 91355.
