Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
Good morning Saugus. This week we had 4 Part-1 crimes reported in the Saugus area. The first was a hot prowl residential burglary in the 22700 block of Pamplico Drive on February 25th. The victim walked in her residence and saw the suspect walking down the stairs carrying numerous items. Once confronted, the suspect fled the location. Santa Clarita Station detectives are actively working the case.
A second residential burglary was reported in the 28200 block of Newbird Court on February 25th. The suspect vandalized the victim’s residence. He then went through the victim’s purse but it is unknown what was taken. The suspect was known to the victim and other residents at the location. Santa Clarita detectives and deputies are searching for the suspect.
There was a vehicle burglary in the 22500 block of Festividad Drive in the early morning hours of February 24th. The victim woke up and discovered his vehicle unlocked and electrical items missing.
We had a grand theft of vehicle parts in the 22400 block of Paragon Drive in the early morning hours of February 25th. The victim found that parts were stolen off his vehicle overnight.
