I met him once with my kids in the pit area at a AMA race in Fontana. He wasn’t racing just there with his girl but took the time to sign an autograph and was super friendly to me and my kids.. Very sad to hear this

My husband and I were driving home from Ventura driving by the Lake Piru race track and saw the helicopter flying in. We knew it wasn’t good and we prayed for whoever was hurt. I’m so sad to read this. We’ll continue to keep his family in our prayers.
