LBW Insurance and Financial Services in Santa Clarita has earned a “2016 Safeco Insurance® Make More Happen Award” for its community work with Single Mothers Outreach, an award that includes a $4,000 donation to the nonprofit.
The award includes a $4,000 donation to Single Mothers Outreach from Safeco Insurance, along with a feature story on Safeco.com and the chance to win an additional $1,000 when the feature appears. The $4,000 donation is in recognition of the partnership between LBW and Single Mothers Outreach.
LBW recently completed a project for Single Mothers Outreach with helping to expand our storage facilities. This helps us free up more storage space for our Closet on Main boutique whose profits go to fund our programs.
For Single Mothers Outreach to win the additional $1,000, at least 50 different individuals must leave a “cheer” on the Safeco.com story featuring LBW Insurance and Financial Services and Single Mothers Outreach during the one-week period it is live. The story is scheduled to appear on www.Safeco.com/make-more-happen the week of June 6, 2016 and is best viewed on a desktop or laptop.
Neil Fitzgerald from Single Mothers Outreach said, “We’re so grateful that LBW Insurance and Financial Services have supported us. We’re asking the community to leave “cheers” on the Safeco.com story thanking LBW. Examples to post saying “Single Mothers Outreach ROCKS” or “LBW are awesome.”
April Price from LBW Insurance said, “We are thrilled to have won Single Mothers Outreach a $4,000 donation. Our organizations have a long history of financial and manpower support. LBW was thrilled to see Safeco recognize the partnership with the Make More Happen award. We really hope we can get an additional $1,000 donation for Single Mothers Outreach and encourage everyone to cheer on www.Safeco.com/make-more-happen from June 6 to June 12.”
Throughout 2016, Safeco is selecting a total of 66 independent agencies for the Make More Happen award and donating up to $330,000 to the nonprofits they support.
