Mother’s Day maybe over but every day is Mother’s Day for Single Mothers Outreach and so in May we are running a fundraising competition to see which local business can raise the most money for us during May.

Several local businesses are running fundraising events throughout the month and the winning business will become an Empowerment Sponsor for our 2016 Empowering HeArts event in November.

This week we would like to particularly highlight Dr. Roger De Sesa from De Sesa Chiropractic who is holding a special event on Saturday May 14th where if you make a donation of any amount you will receive an adjustment in return.

Also, this weekend our friends at Pizza Rev are hosting a weekend long fundraiser from Friday May 13th – Sunday May 15. If you mention “Single Mothers Outreach” when paying for your pizza, Single Mothers Outreach will receive 20 percent of the sale.

Other businesses that are part of “Make a Mother’s Day” are: Valencia Pediatric Associates, Kokolita Cakes, Saenger Associates, Cobalt Realty Group, Pat News Health Care, The Sweetest Skin Co, Vance Wealth Group, Laura’s Lash Lounge and Tribute Beauty Lounge. The local Junior Chamber – JCI Santa Clarita are also helping to promote the competition throughout May.
