From 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on March 5, Thursdays@Newhall kicks off with ArtSLAM and JAM Sessions, hosted by the Ford Theatre Foundation. ArtSLAM will feature a free open-air gallery combining local and regional artists showcasing their work along with live and interactive exhibits. Then, starting at 7:30 p.m., JAM Sessions will rock Main Street with Bollywood music and interactive dance for the whole family.

From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on March 12, the new Revved Up car show cruises onto Main Street with a fleet of Classic VW’s. Residents can enjoy a live DJ, food trucks and a beer and wine garden for adults. The cars will be voted on in two categories: People’s Choice and Peer Choice.

Local residents interested in submitting an automobile or motorcycle for the Revved Up car show can apply online or contact the City’s Arts and Events office at aeo@santa-clarita.com. There is no fee to enter. Revved Up applications must be submitted at least one week prior to the event in which the applicant wishes to participate. Eligible winning vehicles will be submitted for consideration in the annual OTNA Classic Car Show.

The popular SENSES block party is back to shake up Old Town Newhall from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on March 19 with a Luck o’ the Irish theme. The free outdoor event will feature live Celtic rock music by Green Ashes, as well as food trucks and other activities.

Thursdays@Newhall’s March events conclude with the ARTree Speaker Series and SCVTV presents the OutWest Concert Series on March 26. From 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the ARTree Speaker Series, presented in partnership with the CalArts Community Arts Partnership and the City of Santa Clarita, will feature entertainer and singer Jeudi Cornejo Brealey at the Old Town Newhall Library, located at 24500 Main Street. Participants can listen to the songs, stories and tales of parenthood from Brealey, who weaves music and narrative into her one-woman cabaret show.

Meanwhile, SCVTV presents the OutWest Concert Series with Katy Moffatt, a country rock, blues and ballads singer-composer starting at 8:00 p.m. at the Repertory East Playhouse located at 24266 Main Street.
