In recognition of its innovative learning opportunities and consistent student success, The Master’s College was named a 2015-2016 College of Distinction by CollegesofDistinction.com.

With 13 majors and 60 specific areas of study through traditional, online and degree completion formats, TMC offers students ample opportunity to reach their educational goals in a Christ-honoring, biblically-focused setting.

To be considered for the College of Distinction honor, schools must be nominated by high school counselors and educators. They are then evaluated according to four distinctions: “engaged students,” “great teaching,” “vibrant community” and “successful outcomes.” Those that have distinguished themselves in each of the four categories and have demonstrated dedication to enriching student outcomes are invited to join Colleges of Distinction.

The annual process also includes a review of each institution’s freshman experience, general education program, strategic plan, and alumni success and satisfaction measures.

The recognition comes as TMC is in the midst of implementing several changes and new degree programs. A revised general education program and student ministries degree will be unveiled during the 2015-2016 year. The College has also welcomed the first wave of students in its online degree programs—Christian Ministries and Organizational Management. Pending approval by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, TMC plans to offer two additional online degrees in November 2015.
