Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a Los Angeles man on multiple charges after a traffic stop in Saugus late Friday night, the station reported Sunday night.
Here’s more of the story from the station’s social media:
“Deputies pulled over a car for traffic violations just before midnight Friday at Bouquet Canyon Road /Valencia Boulevard, and discovered the driver had open beer cans, a license plate on his vehicle that didn’t match the car it was on, extra license plates inside the vehicle, methamphetamine, and blank doctor prescription papers.
“The driver also had a $26,000 warrant in the system for his arrest.
“Deputies arrested Charles Cornell, 49, of Los Angeles, on multiple charges including possession of methamphetamine, receiving stolen property, possession of doctor prescriptions, and on various vehicle code violations.
“Cornell was transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail.”
